Mum, you are so kind, patient and loving
       Forever giving, and asking for nothing
You are amazing and very strong
       Teaching truth from right and wrong
As a young girl I have always grew
       Hoping to be a just a little like you
With soft words, you melt away pain
       Never angry, or seeking to blame
Comforting arms that wrap around me
       Giving me hope and a way to see
Untangling the torment and setting it free
       A strength to endure what’s meant to be
Mum, what more can I say
       My lovely Mum ….
